“ The 2024 G.MAP×Kiaf×C-Lab Immersive Media Art Exhibition, titled Water Trios, draws inspiration from three key climate-related elements: temperature and wind, which are greatly influenced by ocean currents, and precipitation—water that falls from the sky in the form of rain and snow.

The exhibition interprets the climate crisis as a chain reaction or an interconnected phenomenon involving these three elements, serving as a relevant and timely occasion to convey its urgency through language and visual art. The exhibition is particularly significant for its display of artworks that explore natural phenomena associated with “water”—an essential element for human survival—which are influenced by human activities, such as ocean currents, snow, rain, and clouds.

The exhibition features works by Seunghyo Jang and Robert Chang Chien, who have elevated the climate crisis into compelling works of art.
We hope that the exhibition, which explores the themes of climate, art, and humanity, will encourage the audience to confront the current crisis and reflect on its implications.”
